Haslemere station shortlisted for three national awards
10 August 2020: Haslemere station has reached the shortlists for Station of the Year in the National Rail Awards (17 September) and Most Enhanced Station Buildings & Surroundings in the Community Rail Awards (9 December). In addiition, Haslemere CRP stalwart Ken Griffiths is in the running for Outstanding Volunteer Contribution in the Community Rail Awards.

Community involvement exceeds SWR targets
25 July 2020: South Western Railway's station adoption groups topped 50 by the end of March, beating SWR's target and deadline by more than three months. The targets were set in November 2018, when SWR had just seven registered adoption groups.

CRP gains national accreditation from Department for Transport
6 July 2020: The Department for Transport today confirmed that the Surrey Hills to South Downs Community Rail Partnership has been awarded accreditation status. This is formal recognition by the DfT that the CRP operates to a high standard and that its objectives and activities are supported by Government.
